Executive Summary - Propertybase Alternative

PropertyBase started out as a Saleforce add-on in 2008. After technical and business challenges, Lone Wolf Technogies acquired Propertybase in 2021 and renamed it Lone Wolf Front Office. The resulting product is a CRM and IDX Website combination. The main selling point of Front Office is that it is integrated with Lone Wolf's back office software to create a complete brokerage solution. For this reason, PropertyBase Front Office is not targeted towards individual real estate agents or even teams of agents. Instead, the product is targeted towards large brokerages, which are looking purchase a complete solution for their entire office. One internet reviewer wrote: "This system is for large brokerages that can have 2-3 full time people working for 3-6 months only on setting this up."

Front Office does not offer a free trial, as individual agents are not given the opportunity to select their CRM, but are instead are forced to use the CRM by their broker. The product does not offer a pro-rated refund, and no phone support is offered for the same reason. There is no incentive for Lone Wolf Technologies to please individual agents as the customer is the broker not the individual agent. For this raeson the product is geared towards making the broker's life easier, and not helping the individual agent incubate leads. Since Front Office is the result of several acquisitions, with underlying technology shifting several times, the user interface is overly complex, and inconsistant, and there is considerable overlap in functionality between components.

While RealtyJuggler can be configured for an office, its most common configuration is less than 5 agents working together, and RealtyJuggler works great for just a single agent as well. RealtyJuggler's primary focus is to help real estate agents incubate leads, and close deals. As such, the company is agent-focused, and is not broker-focused. The product offers a free trial, pro-rated refund, affordable pricing, and most importantly phone technical support. Since RealtyJuggler was designed as a unified tool from the start, the user interface is consistant and the product is easy to use.

While the concept of an all-in-one solution like Lone Wolf sounds good, it has many disadvantages. It is clunky to use, and locks brokerages into monolithic long-term contracts that are hard to wriggle out of. One customer reported: "The backoffice system needs someone with a coding degree practically and their promise of a one sign on solution really does not exist. We are less than 30 days in and I told them I really just don't want the zipforms and backoffice. Said we would move over to the front office because it is a substantial monthly savings and that we prefer just to stay with their other backagent/workspace. I received an email back today that basically said, nope - you have a long term contract. I highly do not recommend Lone Wolf. Be smarter than me and do your research before signing a contract with them." The business model of Lone Wolf is to lock brokerages into their proprietary technology stack. If you become unhappy any one component, you can't easily change vendors, as you are locked in.

RealtyJuggler takes a dramatically different approach. A no obligation 90-day free trial is offered. A pro-rated refund is provided at any time. All data can be exported out of RealtyJuggler in a format that is suitable for use in any competing real estate CRM. Since RealtyJuggler does not lock the agent up, they work hard to maintain loyalty. They do this by providing excellent phone support, including complimentary onboarding, one-on-one training, and regular upgrades to the product. Since RealtyJuggler was designed and built by the same engineering team, the user interface is consistant and straightforward to use. The support and engineering teams work together to make regular upgrades, which results in a cleaner member experience.

With RealtyJuggler, leads can come from ANY lead source, including your IDX website. Leads can come from Zillow, Trulia, Realtor, com, any IDX website, as well as through data sources which provide expired listings, FSBO's, and even probate data. If you become uphappy with a lead source, you can fire that vendor and select a new one. This gives you far more control and flexability as it allows you to adapt your stratagies based upon changing market consditions.

Since RealtyJuggler is a dedicated CRM, it has far more CRM features than Lone Wolf does. RealtyJuggler provides a better balance of features to allow for incubation of many kinds of leads. You might have a mailing address for some leads, and RealtyJuggler can print letters, and labels, whereas Lone Wolf can't. You should expect to generate leads from your listing, thru open houses and yard sign calls. RealtyJuggler can help you gather that information using call capture, and open house forms, incubate those leads and turn them into commission income.

You should also expect at least half of your business to come from referrals. These referrals require you to maintain a relationship with your friends, relatives, and past clients. RealtyJuggler can remind you to make follow-up calls, call people on their birthday, and closing anniversary. You can also print mailing labels for your Christmas cards, print letters, send bulk emails, drip emails, and text messages. RealtyJuggler also comes with a vast content library of letters, eCards, and flyers. Sending an animated eCard for Halloween, for example.

The flexability of RealtyJuggler, affordable price, and simple interface make it the perfect option for most residential real estate agents. RealtyJuggler's consistant user interface, video tutorials, and complimentary training mean you can get the job done in minutes. With RealtyJuggler you aren't locked into a single vendor for everything.
