How can I edit the mailing addresses for my contacts?

Click on Address tab to left of screen when you are in the detailed view of your contact record.

I want to delete some Categories, but they keep coming back!

Go to Main:Settings:Preferences and click on the Contacts tab. A multi-line text field is on that screen which has all your categories with one category per line. Delete the lines you don’t want. If, after you have done this, the category comes back, you should select that category from the drop-down menu in the upper-right corner of the Contacts screen. Are there any contacts that use that category? If there are, you will need to edit these contacts so that they do not have that category and then go back and delete the category from the Main:Settings:Preferences list again. RealtyJuggler will automatically add categories to the list if your contacts use them.

I need to be able to look up a client by phone number.

1. Go to a contact record
2. Click on Address tab
3. Fill in "Envelope To" field with what you want. The "Letter To" field can also be filled in for letters.

This same information is available for all parties in a record. To edit, click on the Parties tab, click on the Party you want to edit and edit the Salutation and Letter To fields.

When I set the category for my contact to Buyer and Seller and go to the Buyers and Sellers section in RealtyJuggler, my record is not there.

Just because you have set a category for a contact does not mean that contact will automatically show up in the other databases. If you want to create a Buyer record from a Contact record, go into the contact record and click on the Transfer tab to the left. You can then create a Prospect, Buyer, Seller or Closing record from your contact record. The Quick Start Guide has an explanation of deal flow which will make this process more clear.

I have changed my contact information in Account, but my email signature line is still old. How do I update that?

You can edit your signature by going to the Main:Settings:Preferences section and clicking on the mail tab. You will see a signature field and you can edit that any way you like.

What is the difference between the Contacts Database and the Prospects Database?

The Contacts list is for people you know well and you are keeping up with - they are the kinds of contacts you need to have fast reference to. For example, if someone asks if you recommend a painter, that person would be in your contacts list. As would all your past clients.
The prospects list is for people you are marketing to. They could be total strangers, they could be people you met at an open house. But basically, they are on a trial basis for going into your Contacts list. Until they can prove themselves they stay in the prospects list.
You can market to both lists and keep up with both lists, but the general idea is to keep the contacts list manageable for when you need to look up someone.
